EMC Consulting

Island Labs offers two types of EMC consulting services:

Pre-testing Circuit Board Design Review

We offer one of the most comprehensive design reviews available on the market. Our proprietary checklist based review covers the following topics:

- Power network analysis and improvements using Hyperlynx
- Power supplies and decoupling
- High speed design considerations
- Crosstalk
- EMC Specific Items
- ESD and surge considerations
- Includes 100 pages of reference/tutorial material

Appoximate cost is $1200 CAD for a medium complexity PCB. Turnaround time typically 2 days.

EMC Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

If your product fails one or more EMC tests, an Island Labs engineer is available to assist you troubleshoot the issue. We can either undertake the evaluation remotely (i.e. using your schematics and layout files) or assist in house. Our engineers have solved many emissions and immunity issues and given in-house seminars on PCB design for EMC compliance.
