Close to larger urban areas, the FM band (88MHz - 106MHz) can be completely full with broadcast station signals. Around here we only have a limited number of FM stations, meaning that we have an easier time distinguishing between ambient signals and emissions from your product. We also have extremely few broadcast signals in the 200MHz - 1GHz range. It makes our testing faster than a site with high ambient signals. We undertake Hyperlynx simulations of the power delivery network on your PCBs as well as simulation of the board impedances. Based on this, we may recommend changes to your decoupling capacitor values and locations, as well as power plane/track configuration. The report covers areas such as power supplies, high speed routing, shielding, EMC related items as well as design for manufacture and assembly considerations.
